Over the weekend, I did a ton of paper crafting. I even photographed my messy craft room as I promised, so a full post is coming soon.
On Saturday night, I didn’t sleep until 4am because I was so busy playing with my new toy–a scoring tool I bought that allows me to easily create boxes and bags out of paper (more on that later). I really can’t wait to share everything here. Some of the projects came out pretty neat!
First on my project list, I made a standing box using a sheet of 8″x12″ textured cardstock and a bit of designer paper. I made a clear window by cutting a hole in the front of the box and layering it with a transparency sheet, the same kind any office supply store sells. There’s a bit of Velcro on the underside of the box flap that holds it closed. The final dimensions of the project are about 4″ x 7″ x 1″. Filled with candy, wouldn’t it be the perfect favor for a dinner party or baby shower?![]()

Supplies: Bazzil and PTI cardstock, Nestabilities star die, SU designer paper in Haiku, A Muse simple wishes clear stamps, PTI lemon tart ribbon, Scor-Pal, Coluzzle cutting system.
