My Computer Died! :-(

Man, I’m so upset! My computer crapped out on me yesterday! :-( The most upsetting part is that I’ve only had the thing for a little over a year, and the warranty expired only a little while ago! Grrrr, that HP Pavilion. It almost makes a girl mad enough to switch from PC to Apple.

Fortunately, I uploaded some photos before my computer crashed, so I still have some projects to share. Over the weekend, I made a 3.5″x3.5″ box with a set of mini 3″x3″ thank you cards.

Supplies: SU Purely Pomegranate & Chocolate Chip cardstock, ink, & ribbon, SU designer paper, long oval and rectangle Nestabilities dies, SU Define Your Life and Pocket Silhouettes stamp sets, bone scoring tool

I like the mini thank you cards because they’re the perfect size to write a short note of gratitude to someone. Sometimes there’s not much to say, except thanks, you know what I mean? :-) I also have a super easy template for the box and lid. Once I get my computer fixed, I will definitely post it up.

Tomorrow, I’m going to take my broken, crapped out computer to my nerdy little brother. Hopefully, he can fix the thing. Please cross your fingers, pray, or send warm thoughts towards my broken hard drive! Thanks a bunch! :-)

Wow! The box sets are so incredibly adorable! You never cease to amaze me with all your projects! First with the cards and now the boxes! I, like janie, am going to be poor! But at least we’ll have our cards =)

Warm wishes for your computer! I’m sure he’ll be able to fix it for you. If not, there’s always a macbook =P

Hi Kelly!
I stumbled on your page by way of weddingbee! I am so glad I found your page because I was looking through the bee archives for some diy projects and some crafting inspiration!
I hope you don’t mind but I would love to add you to my (small but growing!) blogroll!
I hope you can recover your computer!
Take care,
Taryn

I hope your computer is salvageable; I can’t believe it crapped out in such a short time. Lovely cards. Every time I see your new cards, I want to make something right away. But then I change my mind when I think about how expensive it can get (I don’t have any supplies at all). I love your enthusiasm for your projects.

[...] Ok, now to the project of the day. With my new Scor-Pal, I made a small box with a removable belly band, and I filled it with 3″x3″ gift tags, perfect for adorning holiday gifts. It’s the same box template that I used to make my mini thank you cards. [...]

Hi, Am I missing the link to the 3.5″x 3.5″ box template. I think I’ve clicked on a couple links and haven’t found it yet. Oh and I’m getting my order ready for the SU Sale-a-bration. How do I make sure you get credit?

Let’s hope and pray your computer gets fixes asp,
