Ever since our summer Europe vacation, Hubs has been calling me by a new nickname: mon petit cochon. My French has deteriorated since high school, so I had no idea what the phrase meant. When I asked Hubs to translate, he didn’t know either. He just picked the word up somewhere and thought it sounded cute.
Well, today, I finally looked it up online:

I’m not pleased with the translation! My husband has been calling me, “my little pig,” for the past two months. One website I read even noted that, “Literally translated, it means ‘little pig,’ but in French, the signification means something like ‘little naughty pervert.’”
Needless to say, I’ve asked the Mister to find a different nickname for me.![]()
Today’s card is a simple one that can be created in 15 minutes or less. I took advantage of the current SU promotion and purchased a birthday stamp set for 20% off. I love this set! Birthday stamps are always useful. I find that most of the greeting cards I give are either birthday or thank you cards. These stamps are part of the same set as the cupcake stamp from my video post.
By the way, thank you for the positive responses on the video! I gather that the short clips are worthwhile, so I will continue to create more in the future. Perhaps a tutorial is in the works? So many ideas, so little time. I wish I had 10 extra hours each day!
