Twitter Me This

I’m not really an online social networking kinda gal (ironic, since I’ve been blogging all my conscious life). I don’t even have a Facebook account. But, Hubs coerced me into joining suggested that I join Twitter. Since I can’t access my blog from work (because it’s too sexually explicit), at least I can Twitter! I admit, I don’t really get Twitter or the whole micro blogging thing yet, but hopefully I’ll catch on soon!

I also added a Twitter badge to the left sidebar. I’m officially Twitted.:-)

The question is: who else is on Twitter? None of my real life friends are bloggers, much less Twitter-ers. Any readers out there want to follow a new Twitter pal? Follow me on Twitter here! http://twitter.com/thesunsethouse

I just heard about Twitter yesterday. I’m on facebook and myspace so I’ll check out Twitter when I have a moment.

I’m on twitter; my fiance just had me join yesterday. I don’t really get it either…but I’m joining for him. I suppose if more of my friends are on it I will care more?

Just found your blog through That Wife the other day (although I’ve been a WB reader for quite a while now). Anyway, I joined Twitter a few weeks ago, and I’m in a similar boat…none of my friends are bloggers (I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that some of them still aren’t sure what blogs are), and they sure aren’t Twitterers (Tweeters?).

By the way, I love your blog so far…I’m always up for some crafty inspiration!

Just started following you on Twitter! I’m @resawu. Though I must warn you, I tend to get very noisy… haha.

It’s funny how people use Twitter in different ways — most of my college friends just use it to keep in touch as sort of a Facebook status-update type thing, but people who are *in* technology/social media industries use it a lot more for networking, listening in on and engaging in conversation, sharing great links and information, etc. But ultimately it’s all personal preference what you want out of it. :)

Hi there! Love your blog and enjoyed reading about your wedding plans on WB back when I was planning too. I use Twitter mostly to follow my favorite bloggers, since family & friends are only verrry slowly catching on. I’m going to add you now :) Thanks for all the crafty/bloggy inspiration (especially on photography, I’m trying to teach myself from scratch)!
