Hello,
I wanted to make a question please. I dont know if Im going to formulate it correct but "Why do people buy this mounting stamps?" I mean, it seems to me like regular stamps that weren't finished. It seems like you pay for something (all the scrapbooking, card material are VERY expensive. This is a critic!!!) and u still have to finish their job. I dont see the interest to buy this stamps. U can not personalize them. Isnt it better to buy just finished and ready to use stamps??? If someone could clarify me...Im new with all this "scrap card" stuff and maybe I'm "totally" wrong...Thanks in advance...Ps. Sorry for the poor English ...

well, if you're using a stampamajig while stamping, does perfect center placement even matter? and I agree, for the price they should definitely be pre-mounted. but.... you can't always find stamps this cute in the stores. i was also wondering, do you have to mount them on the wood block, or could you just store them in a cd case and use them on an acrylic block? or is the provided adhesive not intended for that? thanks for the help!

I wish I had seen this post before I mounted my first set of stamps. One of my stickers ended up 90 degrees off from the actual placement of the stamp, lol At least it wasn't a more obscure angle. :P

do you know how to make a open-lid box made from cardstock? if so, do you think you could blog about it? something small or medium to put cards, soap or something hand crafted. (like on pg. 46 or 63 from the catalog?) :D pretty please?

ps. I agree, SU stamps are pretty reasonable considering how much you would have to pay at the stores, since the mounting is fairly easy, I'd say the discount is passed on and well worth the extra elbow grease! Plus SU has fun perks, which are an added bonus/value :)

Hi Laura! Actually, stamp for stamp, SU stamps are cheaper than other wood block stamps. :-) Think about it: A set of 10 stamps for $25? That's like, $2.50 per stamp. Pretty good compared to the wood block stamps at stores, which range from $4-$11!
