Weekends are so short, aren’t they? I’m always amazed at how much Americans work compared to our European counterparts. I get 12 days of vacation per year at my job. Europeans get at least a month, I believe. What I wouldn’t do for a month of vacation. I shouldn’t complain though; one of my family members recently relocated to Hong Kong and told me that Saturdays are considered workdays there. A six-day work week? I would DIE.
But, I’m really excited–I finally got a chance to play with my new stamp sets over the weekend. At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about the new Sale-A-Bration sets. After playing with them, they’re actually quite versatile! My favorite is Polka Dot Punches, which coordinates with several Stampin’ Up punches. I made a sample below using two stamp sets, ribbon, and patterned paper all from the Sale-A-Bration catalog:

Project Recipe (all supplies SU unless noted): Polka Dot Punches, Congrats stamp sets (Sale-A-Bration sets), card stock in bashful blue, whisper white, certainly celery, ink in bashful blue, certainly celery, ribbon in certainly celery twill (Sale-A-Bration bundle), designer paper in Delicate Dots, 5-petal flower punch, half inch circle punch, scalloped edge punch, soft subtles brad, Sizzix big shot embossing plates (in current SU catty) stampin’ dimensionals
And another glimpse of my favorite SAB set, Polka Dot Punches from the brochure:
