Shop for Stamps!

The question I’m most asked on this blog is: Where can I get Stampin’ Up! products?
The short answer is: At my demonstrator website here.
The long answer is, well, read below.
Stampin’ Up! products are not sold in stores, but may be purchased through a network of independent consultants called demonstrators, that promote to customers directly through home-based workshops.
When I first started stamping, I loved Stampin’ Up products so much that I signed up to be a demonstrator. However, I consider myself a hobby demonstrator because I don’t actively sell stamps or host workshops. I basically signed up with Stampin’ Up because fell in love with the merchandise and decided to supplement my addiction with a small side income. Since then, I’ve amassed a scary amount of craft supplies.
Stamping is a hobby of mine rather than an occupation and I don’t intend to make a profit doing it, which is why I don’t seek to actively make sales. Instead I purchase the merchandise for myself, blog about it, and share the wonderful world of stamping with all my dear readers.
If you fall in love with Stampin’ Up like I did and you don’t know a demonstrator, I’ll be happy to be your demonstrator. Just visit my website at the following link: http://thesunsethouse.stampinup.net. Once you’re there, click on “SHOP NOW” in the top right corner. You can browse the catalog and order merchandise online, and it will be shipped directly to your front door.
Feel free to email me should you have any questions at all, and I will happily assist you.
And now, some basic info about Stampin’ Up! products:
.
What is the quality of Stampin’ Up products?
In two words: Top notch. Stampin’ Up only uses very high quality rubber, so the images are sharp and crisp when inked. The stamps are sold unmounted, which means the wood mounting block, the sticker image, and the red rubber are separated in the package until you adhere them together. This allows Stampin’ Up to keep prices lower and also allows you to mount your stamps any way you please. Most stamps are sold in matching sets so it’s easy to coordinate designs.
Stampin’ Up also uses the best quality ink. The colors are pronounced and smooth. There are two main types of inks: water-based dye ink and craft ink. I find myself mostly using the water-based dye ink for my cards and projects. However, if you enjoy scrapbooking, the craft inks are archival quality.
Stampin’ Up card stock and designer papers are thick, heavy, and available in colors that perfectly coordinate with their inks and embellishments. Out of all brands of white card stock available, I especially like Stampin’ Up’s Whisper White card stock. The smooth surface allows for very smooth, even images.

What is Stampin’ Rewards?
Stampin’ Rewards is one of my favorite perks about Stampin’ Up! Basically, it’s free stuff that you can earn when you spend $150 or more in a single order. It sounds like a lot of money, but believe me, it’s scary how easy it is to spend much more. I’ll just mention that I’ve earned a fourth of my stamp collection through Stampin’ Rewards, and leave it at that.
With a purchase of $150, you get $15 of credit to use on merchandise of your choice, plus your pick of a hostess stamp set. What are those, you ask? Hostess sets are stamps that are not available for sale and may only be earned through Stampin’ Rewards. The rewards work on a sliding scale with the level increasing for each additional $50 spent ($150, $200, $250, etc.). So, the larger the purchase, the more stamps sets and merchandise credit you earn. For full sized pictures of the stamp sets you can earn, click here. Below is a chart outlining the Stampin’ Rewards benefits:
The website shopping cart is automatically set up to calculate Stampin’ Rewards, so shop away and have fun!
.
How much are sales tax and shipping charges?
Sales tax is calculated at the same tax rate of your zip code. Shipping is billed a flat rate of $6.95 or 10% of your total purchase (whichever is greater).
.
I want to order a product, but the website says it’s temporarily unavailable. Can I still order it?
As a demonstrator, I’m able to input orders for out of stock items through the demonstrator order system. The products won’t ship until they are replenished, but if there are any active promotions, the sale prices will still apply. Email me if you’d like to purchase an item that is unavailable online and I’ll be happy to place the order for you. Payment can be made via PayPal (bank to bank transfers only) or credit card (Visa/MasterCard/Discover).
.
What’s the return policy?
Stampin’ Up does not offer refunds; however, they most definitely want customers to be happy with all purchases and will gladly assist with an order exchange. Read more about the return policy here.
.
Can I sell things I make with Stampin’ Up stamps?
The artwork on stamps is copyrighted. However, Stampin’ Up abides by the Angel Policy, a limited license that allows artists and crafters to use any stamp images for the purpose of creating craftworks for sale. The finished product must be hand stamped, not mass produced, and clearly marked with a Stampin’ Up copyright image, which can be found in various sets that SU sells. Read more about Stampin’ Up’s Angel Policy here.

Will you spam me if I buy stuff from your Stampin’ Up demonstrator website?
I promise I will not spam you, scout’s honor.
However, Stampin’ Up has some really awesome promotions from time to time, so if I catch wind of any great deals, I’ll definitely share the info with you, only if you want me to, of course. (But why wouldn’t you want to?)
