I’ll Never Tire of Weddings

Hubs and I went to our friends’ wedding on Saturday and we had such a blast. Although I’ve been married for almost a year already, I never get tired of weddings. They are such a testament of a couple’s personality. Whether the event is simple and sweet, or luxurious and grand, I always have fun at weddings.

Of course, I made a card for the newlyweds with some new stamps and supplies from my recent SU order.

Card Recipe: SU Upsy Daisy & Best Yet stamp sets, SU pink pirouette, chocolate chip, and kiwi kiss paper, PTI ribbon, Heidi Swapp flower, SU corner rounder punch (to make the border), K & Co pearl brads.

And below, just a few pictures of the happy couple:

Cheers!

Congratulations, Scott & Sareen! Welcome to the married club! :-)

San Juan Capistrano Wedding

Weddings are glorious events, aren’t they? The wedding day is all about love, gratitude, commitment, and everything worth living for. I just adore everything about weddings.

I recently attended my friends’ lovely afternoon wedding in San Juan Capistrano. The weather was gorgeous and the bride, breathtaking. I watched as they said their vows under shaded trees by a lake. Sigh. So beautiful!

I made two cards for the happy couple. Hubs and I wrote our well wishes on one card and a friend gave the other card to the newlyweds.

This is the card I made for my friend to give to the happy couple.

Supplies used: PTI garden of life stamps, PTI berry sorbet CS and ink, SU taken with teal CS and ink, SU square punches

And here’s the one I gave them.

Supplies used: SU delight in life stamps, PTI lemon tart and summer sun ink, patterned paper, and CS, Fiskars paper crimper, Nestabilities rectangle and scalloped rectangle dies, SU corner rounder

Now, some pictures from their wedding. :-)

These cute apples were hanging on the chairs.

Tony & Phoebe were married in front of a gorgeous lake on a bright summer day.

They had the most delicious red velvet wedding cake.

No stuffing frosting in each other’s faces for this couple. They fed each other very civilly.

My turn for a piece!
